My name is John Kitchener—I am the president and co-founder of Nantucket Property Watch, a new company designed to look after your Nantucket home during the off-season. I’ll share more about our company in the enclosed brochure, but first, I want to tell you a little bit about myself.
My daughters often call me “the Mayor of Nantucket.” They say that, wherever we go on the island —the coffee shop, the beach, the book store—I’ll find someone I know. That’s true, and it’s why this place means so much to me. Ever since my family bought our house here twelve years ago, Nantucket has felt like home.
I spend most of my year on the island, but when I’m not here, I worry. This year alone, we’ve been hit by four Nor’easters. Many residents have had to deal with serious wind and flooding damage—which hasn’t been easy, particularly for people who live hundreds of miles away in the winter. In the midst of a big storm, caretakers, who stop by for weekly visits and rely on off-island subcontractors, struggle to get the job done.
John and Zoki are two Nantucket residents dedicated to protecting island homes from extreme winter weather.

I am a retired business professional with 40+ years of management experience. My partner, Zoki Milovski, runs a small construction company on Nantucket, and lives on the island full-time. Together, we will make sure that your property is properly prepared for the winter, and able to quickly bounce back from even the toughest Nantucket storm.
